Abuse & Contact

Report abuse, ask questions, stay informed.

UnixFabric offers a clear process for handling abuse reports, security concerns, and general contact requests. Respectful communication and transparency are core to how we respond.

Abuse Report Process

If you identify abuse, malware, spam, or a security issue, submit a report with the evidence needed to evaluate the claim. We do not require personal details unless they are necessary for follow-up.

01 / Report

Send a concise summary, affected systems, and relevant evidence to our abuse contact address.

02 / Review

We triage each report quickly and assign it to the right team or administrator.

03 / Respond

We reply with acknowledgement, next steps, and an approximate timeline if follow-up is required.

Contact Details

UnixFabric prefers email for formal reports and documentation. General inquiries may use public channels, while abuse and security issues should use the dedicated address below.

Handling Investigation / Security Incident

We strive for direct, honest communication. Reports are handled with respect, and we retain only the information needed to resolve the issue. Security incidents are managed transparently; see our warrant canary at canary.unixfabric.com.

What should I include?

Affected hostnames, timestamps, sample data, and steps to reproduce. Avoid sharing sensitive personal data unless it is strictly necessary for the report.

How quickly will you reply?

We aim to acknowledge abuse reports within 48 hours and keep requesters informed while preserving privacy.

What about mail privacy?

Our mail client is Mailcow. Passwords are stored on the server for authentication, and mail is retained only until deleted by the user. Do not send PII/PHI through these channels; it is secure, but we cannot promise protection against targeted threat actors.

Can I request deletion?

Yes. If your message includes personal data or sensitive details, we will remove or redact it once the report is closed.
